Code enforcement officers are responsible for identifying, investigating, and notifying property owners and residents who are in violation of city ordinances relating to environmental issues, such as, overgrowth of grass and weeds, excessive litter, trash, refuse, abandoned and inoperable vehicles, nuisances, sewage, and general health standards.

The LaGrange Police Department offers fingerprint and vehicle inspection services daily from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Ink Fingerprinting is required for some job applications and vehicle inspections are required for vehicle tags and titles.
