When I first started the Magical Unicorn Pattern, I was actually making a horse for my daughter. But then, of course, she wanted for the unicorn:) The “pony” is simply the unicorn pattern without the horn and printed at 75%.

How to make a: Face Mask Supplies: • Cotton fabric • Cotton flannel • Rope or thin flat elastic Instructions: -Cut one rectangle of both the fabric and flannel to 9”x6” It’s easiest to measure out this pattern on a piece of paper and then cut around the paper pattern piece. -Cut 2 7” pieces of elastic and tie a knot at each end (if using rope elastic).

Making your own horn is very easy and fun. I used some batik fabric scraps I really like how colorful my horns turned out. In my opinion the key to a really easy horn to make and an easy horn to sew onto your unicorn is 100% cotton fabric.

1.) Inspiration comes from within and can’t be forced, BUT if you are not already sewing, it’s not going to come at all. So, setting a habitual sewing time, such as every tuesday and thursday evening, will invite inspiration and it will come more easily. Not everything you sew is going to be magnificent, but if you are not in the habit of sewing, nothing is ever going to be magnificent.
