Henry Ford’s Winter Estate. In 1914, Henry and Clara Ford, along with their son Edsel, visited Fort Myers at the invitation of Thomas Edison. They enjoyed the visit so much that two years later, Ford purchased the home adjacent to the Edison Winter Estate.
Edison Ford Self-Guided Tour – Daily. Available in English, German, French, and Spanish, this tour offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy a self-guided tour of the Edison and Ford families’ historic homes and gardens at their own pace.
